Buyer protection

Escrow protection

Your money does not go to the seller when you pay. We hold it, and it only moves once you have what you paid for. This page explains exactly how that works and where the limits are.

How it works

Every order runs through the same five steps. Nothing is automatic until the money has actually arrived and a member of our team has seen it.

1

You place the order

You get a reference code. Nothing is charged and no account details change hands yet. The code is yours for 24 hours.
2

You send the payment

Easypaisa, JazzCash or a bank transfer, with your reference code attached, then you tell us the transaction ID. Send it to the details on the payment page and nowhere else.
3

We confirm the money arrived

A person checks the payment against the reference. Only then does the order exist — and your money sits with us, not the seller.
4

The seller delivers

Instant listings hand over the account details the moment we confirm your payment, day or night. Everything else is delivered by the seller within the time they promised on the listing, in the order chat.
5

You confirm, and only then is the seller paid

Once you say the order is right, the money is released. Until you do, it stays with us.

How long we hold your money

If you confirm, the seller is paid straight away. If you say nothing, the order completes itself after a set period, so a buyer who simply forgets does not leave a seller unpaid forever.

What you boughtHeld until
Game accountsYou confirm, or 5 days after delivery
Currency, top-ups and itemsYou confirm, or 3 days after delivery
BoostingYou confirm, or 3 days after the seller marks the job done

Accounts are held longest because that is the one that goes wrong slowly. Currency either lands in your account or it does not, and you know within minutes. An account can look perfect for days before the previous owner files a recovery request — so the window is longer, and you are covered for the whole of it.

You do not have to confirm early. There is no advantage to us in rushing you, and confirming is what pays the seller — so take the time to sign in, change the password and the recovery email, and be sure the account is really yours.

If something goes wrong

Open a dispute from the order page. The moment you do, the money stops moving — it cannot be released to the seller while a dispute is open, and our team reads the whole order chat before deciding.

You can raise a dispute when:

  • Nothing was delivered by the time the seller promised.
  • What arrived is not what the listing described — wrong rank, wrong amount, missing items.
  • The account stops working, or the original owner recovers it, while it is still inside the protection window above.

If the dispute goes your way, the full amount you paid comes back to your Gamers Mandi wallet. We do not keep our commission on a refunded order — if you are not being charged, neither are we.

Verified sellers

Nobody can list on Gamers Mandi anonymously. Before a seller's first listing goes live they submit their CNIC, a selfie and their payout details, and a member of our team checks them by hand. Sellers who have passed that check carry a tick next to their name.

Every listing is also read by staff before it appears. That catches the obvious problems; escrow is what covers the rest.

What is not covered

We would rather be straight about the edges than have you find them during a dispute.

  • Payments sent outside Gamers Mandi. If you pay a seller directly — another number, another account, “cheaper if we do it off-site” — there is no escrow, because we never held the money. This is the single most common way people are cheated.
  • Details shared in chat before payment. Account logins for instant listings are released to you by the system after payment. A seller sending them earlier is skipping the protection.
  • Problems raised after the window closes. Once an order completes and the protection period has passed, the money has gone to the seller.
  • Bans from the game publisher. Buying and selling accounts breaks the terms of most games. We can protect your money on this marketplace; we cannot stop a publisher acting on their own rules.
If a seller asks you to pay anywhere other than the payment page, stop and report it from the order chat. That request is the warning sign, every time.

Selling instead?

Escrow protects both sides. See how it works for sellers — when you get paid, and what we cover you against.
